Harbin Institute of Technology is one of the first batch of key universities under the "211 Project", A university directly managed by the central government, one of the first nine universities to be key under the "985 Project", and a Class A university in the "Double First-Class" initiative. The Shenzhen Campus of Harbin Institute of Technology is jointly built by Harbin Institute of Technology and the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It mainly offers full-time undergraduate and postgraduate education, with part-time education as A supplement. It is the first high-level campus of a "Project 985" university and a "Double First-Class" A-class university to be held in Shenzhen with a complete undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral education system.
