Xi 'an Aerospace Engine Co., Ltd. is affiliated to the Sixth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It is the only professional unit in China dedicated to the research and production of large liquid rocket engines. It shoulders the historical mission of successfully completing various space launch tasks and promoting the development of a strong aerospace nation. The company is located in the Xi 'an National Civil Aviation Industry Base in the southern suburbs of Xi 'an City, covering an area of 891 mu. Over the past 50-plus years since its establishment, the company has successively developed and produced a series of rocket engines needed for the Beidou Project, the Lunar exploration project, the manned space program and Mars exploration. Since 2010, the company has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise and has been selected as one of the top 100 enterprises in Shaanxi Province for many consecutive years.
