The 2014 Annual Conference of the Mechanics and Process Testing Technology Branch of the Steel Standardization Committee concluded in Shanghai

On December 4, 2014, the annual meeting of the Mechanical and Process Test Methods Sub-Technical Committee of the National Steel Standardization Committee was successfully concluded in Shanghai. The meeting reviewed and approved the "High Strain Rate Tensile Testing of Metallic Materials - Part 2 Four standards, namely "Hydraulic Servo and Other Test Systems", "Determination of Plastic Strain Ratio (r Value) of Thin Plates and Strips of Metallic Materials", "Metallic Materials - Vickers Hardness Test - Part 1: Test Method", and "Test Method for Residual Deformation of Mechanical Connectors of Reinforcing Bars".

More than sixty representatives from various units across the country, including Baosteel Co., LTD., Beijing Iron and Steel Research Institute, Shenzhen Wance Testing Equipment Co., LTD., Wuhan Iron and Steel Group, Ansteel Group, and the National Steel Products Testing Center, attended this meeting.
