Wance attends the National Micro-Sample Mechanical Testing Conference by the Fuchun River, gathering strength for innovation

In the golden autumn of October, the banks of the Fuchun River are rippling with clear waters, and a gathering of outstanding figures come together to discuss the cutting-edge. From October 24th to 25th, the 3rd National Symposium on Microsample Mechanical Testing Methods and the First China Mechanical Testing Instrument and Equipment Innovation Exchange Conference were held in Tonglu, Zhejiang Province. More than 300 academicians, experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from nearly 90 universities, research institutes and enterprises across the country gathered together to explore new theories, new technologies, new methods, standards and innovative development paths of instruments and equipment in the field of mechanical property testing of micro-samples.

In the report, the Wan Ce team elaborated in detail on the innovative application of video extensometers in the mechanical property testing of TC4 titanium alloy micro-samples. Through high-precision image acquisition and intelligent algorithm analysis, this technology has achieved real-time deformation monitoring of micro-samples under complex stress conditions, effectively addressing the pain points of traditional contact extensometers such as insufficient measurement accuracy and cumbersome operation at the microscale. The report data indicates that the measurement error rate of the video extensometer in the detection of TC4 alloy is less than 0.5%, far exceeding the industry standard, providing reliable technical support for high-precision material detection fields such as aerospace and biomedicine.
