The annual meeting of the Steel Standardization Committee and the review meeting of three standards were successfully held in Beihai

On December 10, 2012, the National Technical Committee for Steel Standardization was held in Beihai. The national standards "Correction Method for Constraint Loss of CTOD Fracture Toughness in Fracture Assessment of Steel Components of Metallic Materials", "High Strain Rate Tensile Testing of Metallic Materials - Part 1: Elastic Rod System" and "Method for Determination of Actual Breaking Tensile Force of Steel Wire Ropes" have been reviewed and approved.

The conference approved the summary report of the 2012 sub-technical committee made by the chairperson Zhou Xing. The vice-chairperson Gao Yifei reported on the situation of the 2012 International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC164 Mechanics meeting. Finally, the vice-chairperson Dong Li organized the committee members to discuss the standard formulation and revision project plan and standard system of the Mechanics sub-committee from 2012 to 2013.
