This series of extensometers use strain gauges to measure the deformation of materials and are widely used in various fracture mechanical property tests. They comply with the requirements of ASTM E399 standard for determining fracture toughness and E1820 and E813 standards for determining JIC and R curves. Deformation measurement can be conducted on tensile, arc-shaped, disc-shaped, curved specimens or specimens of other geometric shapes, in compliance with the test methods stipulated by ASTM and other international organizations.

Main uses
